Mrs. Casey Ten Bruin

Hello, I’m Mrs. Ten Bruin! I am very excited to be the Math Interventionist for the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Parkland this year!

This is my 23rd year teaching at Parkland. I previously taught 8th grade math on the 8 blue team.

I live here in McHenry with my Husband and have two college daughters. My oldest daughter is a senior at the University of Missouri and my youngest daughter is sophmore at the same school!

I love math more than most people, so I am hoping to share that with your students and get them to like math a little more each day!

Mrs. Christina Conklin

Hello, I’m Mrs. Conklin! I am very excited for my second year as the Reading Interventionist for the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Parkland this year!

This is my 19th year teaching at Parkland. I previously taught Language Arts and Social Studies in sixth grade for 16 years.

I am also the Athletic Director here at Parkland, and the Spirit Club supervisor.

I grew up in Crystal Lake, and currently live in Hawthorn Woods with my husband, Ryan, and our family.

I have three kids...Connor (12), Charlie (10), Collette (8).

I love being active and outdoors. Most of my time is spent at the football and baseball fields.
